HK Industrial is seeking a reliable, hands-on team member to support day-to-day production and operations.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working with tools and materials, and is interested in learning new skills within a small, locally recognised entrepreneurial business.
Computer & Clerical Skills
This role requires a good level of general computer competence.
You do not need to be highly technical, but you should be comfortable using a computer daily and able to learn new programs with minimal fuss. The ability to move between different software tools, follow workflows, and keep basic records organised is important.
Experience with CRM systems and QuickBooks is an asset, but not essential for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
• Cutting, preparing, and packaging industrial textile materials
• Supporting production tasks, including the opportunity to learn industrial sewing
• Organising finished goods for shipment
• Making local deliveries (valid driver’s licence required)
• Maintaining a clean, organised workspace
• Assisting with basic administrative tasks as needed
Preferred Experience
• Experience in a production, warehouse, or light manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or willingness to learn)

Compensation & Hours
Starting at $22 per hour, plus statutory vacation pay
Min. 24+ hrs/week leading to full time
Final rate based on experience and skill set
Work Environment
HK Industrial currently operates from a small home-based workspace. The successful candidate will be working on-site within this environment.
